Been too busy with actual intern work, which I can't show just yet. Haven't forgotten this project though, and now had time to do some work on it. redid the canopy since the previous version just wasn't good enough and I've come bit more in ways of using hardops and booleans.
more the same.
wish there was easy way to fill the greasepencil or bezier curve inside blender to get the volume.
tried to go more feminine features this time. lot harder than chiseled male form. :)
louhikarme hi Kaj, you are very consistent in practicing, that’s awesome! I do not know much about anatomy so sadly I won’t be of much help. But I do notice that all your characters look hungry (jaw area is fairly thin so I let looks like they need to eat more). Except for the ‘more angry old man’ one on Wednesday, that one looks the best so far.
Hope this helps and keep it up! I am following your progress just don’t have much to say in terms of feedback so.. yeah. Keep going man! 😎👍🏻
ssmurfmier1985 Thanks Miranda, yeah i agree i think they are on low diet. :D hence i went for the skull today. :D though seriously, what i'm after also here is to get good routine to do this kind of practices sculpts everyday before i get to dayjob, once my vacation is over that is. that way, i get most productive stuff out of the way first thing on the morning. :)
more skulls. note to self, don't try to sculpt the teeth on the same mesh than the skull..
might take this one to houdini and see what i can do with vdb.
more skulls, and today decided to sketch with hops instead of drawing.
focusing more on the big shapes now and not details at all.
and messing around with hops selfcutter :D
ssmurfmier1985 thanks. slowly. its supposed to be more feminine features on the last one. though this has been good for my urge to go into detailing. keeping it big forms really helps to understand how much they affect the wholeness of the pieces. just have to keep at it :)
