Been too busy with actual intern work, which I can't show just yet. Haven't forgotten this project though, and now had time to do some work on it. redid the canopy since the previous version just wasn't good enough and I've come bit more in ways of using hardops and booleans.
starting to get close. need to cut cockpit area and make that. also tons of details needs to be added. and ofcourse texturing.
started the interior of the cockpit. most of the panels done. still lots of work to be done. chair is still just a blockout form and main controls missing.
louhikarme Good to see more of your work since the character workshop! Here's to mechs 🤘
thanks :) other stuff i've been working is still under wraps, will see when i get permission to post them. :)
cockpit starting to shape up. the chair is on rails so that the pilot can actually get in it.
allmost done with the highpoly. lowpoly and texturing are soon upon me. :)
Think the high poly for outer stuff is done, cockpit insides is another matter, needs cleanup. next up lowpoly and texturing. :)
been a while and haven't really have time to forward this. with 2.79 principled shader decided to try it still on the blender high poly... needs enviroment though.. bit lonesome pic.
Since the mech seems to become eternity project, i needed to clear my head and do something quick. :)
Finally after a year wait I can show the stuff I did for Descendent Studios and their upcoming shooter Desccent. uploaded ships to gallery, but wanted to drop this one here aswell. since this I think was the most fun i had.
ssmurfmier1985 Thank you. it was a blast learning to work within bunch of constraints/limits and deadlines. :)
This was supposed to be just a concept eevee render, but after night sleep and fresh eyes, i think i'll take this one further and to ue4 as a bigger scene.
louhikarme man, love your take on the Zentraedi Officer's Battle Pod mecha :)
Trying out shapes with booleans and cutting cutters with cutter and cutters. :) still needs lot of work.
I think its enough for this and start getting these into ue4 now and finish lighting there.
