In this lesson, we'll be building on what we learned in the previous lesson and applying projection mapping techniques to begin creating components for our kit-bash kit. We will use a photograph of a disassembled digital camera as our foundation and pick a simple component, to begin with.
We will use the projected image to model our geometry and take the opportunity to discuss several modeling techniques to get us started. We will then use the projected image on the geometry as the basis for our material.
This piece will be the first of our mechanical bug parts.
