Every season the Blender Market has a sale, and one of my favorite projects to work on is creating the advertising graphic! During the stream, I'll build one out for the summer sale and will talk about how to manage scenes with large numbers of assets, using existing assets to tell an interesting story, and how to go from zero to final render as quickly as possible.
Here are a few examples of past sale graphics, which we'll be shooting to beat:
I made three, but they look so boring to me...have to re-try that
In JL's Lighting course, there is this lighting of a bedroom scene and you already get completely different results!
And everything with the same models
People would arrange the assets in their own different way and light the scenes totally different, some renders will look great, others will look bad
Sure!
For example, you give 10 people those same assets on the tractor render, the tractor, the buildings, cones, etc, and I bet they will be 10 totally different renders
For me as well
For me that (composition & lighting) is the hardest part
It would be just an exercise for people to realize just how make it or break it a good composition and lighting can be
That would be a full-time job, considering that there are four of those in a year!
