Every season the Blender Market has a sale, and one of my favorite projects to work on is creating the advertising graphic! During the stream, I'll build one out for the summer sale and will talk about how to manage scenes with large numbers of assets, using existing assets to tell an interesting story, and how to go from zero to final render as quickly as possible.
Here are a few examples of past sale graphics, which we'll be shooting to beat:
You know what other thing amazes me.. how good Spotify knows what music I might like
Want to re-visit the bedroom first, but it sounds like great fun
I was amazed how much the expression on the face changes from lighting setup to lighting setup
That was really fun to make
Not yet, really looking forward to that!
Did you make the exercise of lighting the head model, Spikey?
Thanks guys, glad you enjoyed it!
Yes, great shout out for the lighting course!
You Lighting course was super great JL, it gave me a whole new workflow with the fiddling with the exposure technique
I'm always amazed how to get a good render everything matters from beginning to end... a good modeled model, otherwise pinching and stuff will be noticeable, good layed out UV's, good shading to interact with the light, and everything could be great until that point and if you don't light it well, it will all fall short
