This stream is part of week 2 in the August 2019 Class: "Get Started Building Stuff with Blender 2.8"
Texturing introduces color to your models but materials make your model appear to be plastic, or wood, or metal, etc. If you're asking yourself "What's the difference", fear not! I will make sure you know the difference by the end of this week.
We will also be exploring the Eevee engine and how it works together with texturing and shading for a realtime workflow.
Class Live Stream Schedule: RSVP to get notified when we go live.
- Week 01 - 3D Modeling with Blender 2.8
- Week 02 - UVs and Texture Painting
- Week 03 - Shading and Lighting with Eevee
- Week 04 - Class Wrap
Chemical formulas Jack?
I'd rather not type with doritos hands so ill go into lurk now
Also I brought cookies! Soft-baked chocolate chip. That was the main point of going to the store btw.
Ahh, I remember back when I was a wee lad, thinking "how could someone throw their future for art?" Yet here I am, tired of reading books of old politics and chemical formulas that feel useless... Yet so happy making stuff in Blender.
the "pure artists" in USA have day jobs
but those guys are even rarer.
Yeah Aaron I think I read some of your "trouble" (is that the right word)
Oh Spikey you had a real big project, I feel you mate
unless you are one man gamestudio doing everything by yourself. :)
And I think people has "the Industry" as a Valhalla where they can make "pure art"
me too
