This stream is part of week 2 in the August 2019 Class: "Get Started Building Stuff with Blender 2.8"
Texturing introduces color to your models but materials make your model appear to be plastic, or wood, or metal, etc. If you're asking yourself "What's the difference", fear not! I will make sure you know the difference by the end of this week.
We will also be exploring the Eevee engine and how it works together with texturing and shading for a realtime workflow.
Class Live Stream Schedule: RSVP to get notified when we go live.
- Week 01 - 3D Modeling with Blender 2.8
- Week 02 - UVs and Texture Painting
- Week 03 - Shading and Lighting with Eevee
- Week 04 - Class Wrap
Nice answer Kent, I agree with that
Art is any creative (in the non-qualitative sense) work that is produced for its own sake with no strictly utilitarian function. Change my mind!
Yes, tobles, week 2 was hard
Heh, I mean an artist creating exactly and only what they want and making a living that way. Game studios are full of artists making someone else's artistic vision so I don't count that as "pure art" the way picasso was for example.
