Blender, Substance, and stuff that goes boom.
Tune in to watch Kent Trammell and Jonathan Lampel talk about how the weapons for CG Cookie's upcoming first person shooter game were textured, and the course that came out of it.
If you have any questions for Jonathan about the FPS project, using Substance Painter with Blender, or if you want a critique on a weapon you're building, please post it to this community thread:
By the way Kent, I textured my robot from your course all in SP
I think just ten minutes
I'm here! I'm here! What did I miss? :)
$10
yep
I've just got a substance edu version so this course comes at a great time.
I textured my Robot with SP
BlenderBrit ("Bill") created his own node called Substance-to-Blender, much like the Principled shader. I think I prefer BB's shader for hard mods. Jonathan, are you familiar with Bill's shader node?
Yeah, Blender is kinda wonky for texturing, too intricate and all over the place
I didn't learn previous course. lol I just came because of substance just few minutes ago
