Let's cover the anatomy of a grease pencil object; the modes, and the tools at our disposal. Each short lesson will cover everything you need to know about a specific area.
Materials are a big component, and the ways they can be created, modified, and worked with can be overwhelming. In the next few lessons, I hope to take you through the basics, and give you a good understanding of Grease Pencil materials by showing you how to create some of your own!

Let's put it all together and create an illustration from the bottom up. We will use assets we created along the way, and even animate some objects to add some extra dazzle.
Using the skills learned in this chapter, create a number of unique materials: gradients, textures, repeatable and tilable fills - and save them in a single file for later use. You may use the supplied Texture Paint blend file to work with.
