Smoke particles overflowing

Hi,

I followed the tutorial but I am still getting an overflow of the smoke particles.
I tried changing some parameters like the damping and friction of the cone or the interpolation of the lifetime of the particles but I still can't get a satisfying result.

The puddle of smoke just gets bigger from frame 144-145 when it should get smaller as the rocket (the emission origin) gets higher.
In my idea it was either a problem of speed or lifetime of the particles.
Did anyone get the same issue and solved it or know how to solve it ?

Thank you.

Hi mmaxine98 , I'm having a hard time picturing what the issue is - could you post a screenshot of the result you're getting and where in the tutorial you're at? From the description it sounds like the particles are working as they should but I could be misunderstanding.

    Hi,
Here is the screenshot of the part where it looks most bizarre, the smoke particles are overflowing. And I am at around 21 minutes of the lesson: Simulating the Launch Smoke · Course: Build and Animate a Low Poly Rocket in Blender 2.8 for Beginners .

    Thank you!

Oh I see, I think you just need to reduce the lifetime of the particles. In the video the particles are clipping through the sides a bit but die right before they go off the edge.

oh it works! Thank you so much!! It looks a bit different from the tutorial but it still looks good! I think art is like that, no two pieces are the same...
