There was an Indian sorcerer in a village who decided to use his which craft for something other than medicine, he was hurting people. The people in the village forced him out. He swore that on the next blood moon, he would come back and destroy the village and everyone in it.
williamatics Do you think I should try putting in a sun light that's a bit weak with soft shadows on the other side? I'm going to try to add in grass, if it doesn't turn out good, I'll make it be sand. I'm also gonna see if I can figure out how to make the pumpkin texture look better and I'm going to add in a bunch of details on the clothes. Textures have always been kind of hard for me to figure out. I'm sure after I get a subscription to this website, whether it be from the contest or paying for it, my skills will improve immensely.
Decided to take a break from blender for a few days. Let's see if this improves my efficiency and effectiveness.
Yeah, I'm going to do a different scenario. There's a few things I have to clean up(my horrible topology). I'm going to think of something I can do with this. While I'm thinking about what to do with this, I'll be fixing stuff.
I wonder if I should stick to the other idea, because this doesn't exactly have a story to it.
@cgcookiedough It looks great! You're right about the story, though. Maybe you should keep the composition, but give the pumpkin that new ghostly look?
williamatics I'm using it as fire. I got the moon texture in. The clothes are hard to do though. Here's what I've got right now.
@cgcookiedough That looks great! I think the human's legs are too big though.
I got good clothes!
I'm pretty sure I can get done in time. I'll have to go fast though. I'll most likely spend all day Saturday on it and that will give me the time I need to finish.
You know what this is called? It's called PROGRESS.
btw, that's a horse not a goat. Working on the main and the tail now.
@cgcookiedough The silhouette is going to take some work to make it look good. If it doesn't look good after I spend a few hours on it, I'm going to make it not be a silhouette.
I was doing my final render and saw this:
What do I do about those red spots? Is there a way to turn all the red spots to a different color to make them less noticeable?
@cgcookiedough What're your render samples? Too little is what usually causes stuff like that.
@cgcookiedough How bizarre... are there any more light sources aside from the pumpkin and the moon? 'Cause certain light issues (being too small, too bright in a condensed area etc) can also cause this even with high samples.
thecabbagedetective I have point lamps in the fires, that might be causing it
