What about the new Dynamic Topology? I don't feel like it behaves like the old DynTopo. I just can't get the same results ...

What about the new Dynamic Topology? I don't feel like it behaves like the old DynTopo. I just can't get the same results with with subdivide collapse and everything I sculpt is looking very VERY rough. Should I just use the older model of blender or am I missing some settings?

    Try lowering your Detail size to 10 pixels. I seem to remember the old 30px default behaving like the current 10px defualt.

    Something so simple having such a huge impact. I tried going up but I never tried going down. It's acting more like I remember now. Thanks.

    +1 for that! Kept running through the settings to see if I was missing something else before realizing that. Also curious if you typically sculpt in constant or relative detail?
