Multires visualization issue

posted to: Multiresolution

Hi, I'm having some bugs when using multiresolution. Regardless of the level of subdivisions, whenever I use a brush and move or rotate the view, the mesh returns to a state of low subdivision and returns to normal when I stop. Also, when I activate 'sculpt base mesh' the brushes don't work at all. I've attached a video to make it clearer. Can anyone tell me what's wrong?

It looks like it's doing what it's suppose to do. When you check sculpt base mesh it sculpts the mesh as if you turned off the multires modifier.(Monitor Icon)

    HI Luiz lluizFxS ,

That is the Fast Navigate Option, you can simply disable that if you want:

Yes, as the others say, it's all working how it's supposed to. That feature of lowering the resolution as you move around is an optimization trick, Blender used to be laggy on the viewport and it made it hard to work, so a couple of things were implemented.

Oh wow Martin, I didn't know about that option. Then again sculpting is my kryptonite.
