Just started my progress through the fundamentals and created an (unsafe) rocket boat truck using only primitives.
Working through the Sci-Fi Crate section after the holiday weekend(U.S.) and I decided to try my hand at making a cylindrical unit. Enjoyed making little accents for some personalization. Keypad on the cube crate was a fun self challenge.
Having finished the fundamentals course, this was the low poly room I created. Altered the camera angle as the isometric style didn't really show off some of the smaller things. That said I'm pleased with how this turned out. Off to learn about sculpting.
Ah you're correct, I totally missed that. Now that I take a fresh look at it, almost looks like its racing across the shelf doing a wheelie haha.
I completely forgot about this, but I figure it was time to update my progress on things I've made along the way here
My sharks I did. The two bottom images are for adjustments I made in line with feedback from my exercise submission (he skipped fin day). But in reality I just zoned out and missed that. But happier with the improvement as it looks more proportional and accurate to the reference.

This is my lighting exercise I just finished up. Was going for a classic 70's (and even 60's) era lighting style given the furniture and aesthetic. I had a lot of fun working through how to accent various parts without it becoming the "main" eye grab.

Adding some more stuff I've completed following along with the Let's Build It In Blender. While they were filmed in 2.8 I believe, they hold up really well for modern blender versions. So far:
Pivot Desk Lamp
Bonsai Tree
Urban Low Poly building
Subway Cart
I stopped here to continue along in the Core playlist onto animation and rigging!
Thank you guys! I've been having a fun time working through stuff, even the stuff that sorta makes me scratch my head and flex those wrinkles on the old noodle.
That left panel does look weird, but I'm assuming its because I gave the panels a "frosted" look by turning up the roughness slightly. Give it sorta a privacy panel so it's not just a clear piece.
