How did u the header image, where you split the render in 3 parts, separated by the black lines. like to show 3 stages of comositing. I try to achieve the same effect for a demoreel (to showcase my skills), to present my render with (basecolor, UV-layout, Clay-render, Wireframe) and i want to combine all these renders in a single image, split by small lines like yours. Would you suggest blendes compossitor for this? I guess the easiest way is to render all needed images before and then just slpit them with masks in the compositor. Any other tipps?
Hi Tobias,
It is probably easier to do this in Krita or Photoshop, or so, but it can be done in Blender.
(I personally would use Blender for it, because I know the software better than Krita...)
You can for instance Render an Image like this:
and use that as a Mask (there is a Color > Mix > Separate Color Node in the Compositor) and as a black line provider...
Thanks for the replies. I came up wit a solution in belnder. I use a gradien texture in the compositor and some math like greater than to get sections and masks to separate images. The nice thing in blender is its procedrual and animatable.
I have used it here on the demoscene

and also on a geometry node loop

The effect has still some limitations but works for now with 5 or less images. I like to update it and cleanup the bugs in the future
