Well i didnt know i could do something like this so thought i would make one :)
my first ever sculpt unfortunately i didn't save my work and it was lost at this detail stage.
part of game devs fundamentals blender course work.
So i had to make do with a slight less enthusiastic version after all that work gone haha.
i then started to create models mainly low poly assets from the course work.
loved this low poly plane lesson had great fun with it, but shortly after this when animating i accidently deleted the nose cone and so couldn't go back to rotate the propellers ect which i would of liked to of done.
then built a modular dungeon which was fun ignore the walls in the back ground haha.
low poly light house
low poly barrels were fun to make one of my first ever models
then had some fun with animation this was a great time want to really go back into it soon
had a go at animating the plane you can see the missing propellers hahah so lost motivation very quickly.
then learnt some more dope sheet editor and keyframing
and now this i am now just into my month 2 and cannot wait to learn more, i am so proud of this one it took 12 hours from start to finish.
now subbed to this amazing community.
yeah i didnt want him looking low poly but i wanted the hat to look like a toyish kinda hat haha i still got a lot to learn and its amazing how much stuff you forget when going on a no tutorial route haha i quickly watched the video, and decided screw it lets see what i can do lol.
Robot assignment using edge slides loop cuts and sub division
Notes for self, during this exercise i was very slow around the navigation, not utilising wire frame mode added everything in edit mode so everything was connected, next time add things in object mode parent to object later other than that progress is progress.
work on short cuts more
learn angles and orientations in 3d space so not having to rotate manually can use numbers then.
remember to only try to connect objests in verts mode when holding control.
time to complete 30 mins
Another very low poly plane
low poly pillars working on blue and orange highlights for render.
then building low poly assets for the dungeon
playing with lights again inspired by sea of thieves
So this one was pretty straight forward, getting the hang of knowing where to put loops ect to block out basic shape, really annoyed i forgot the basics of uv mapping.
Need to slow down a little bit and ask why is this not working as to jump the memory.
Just under 2hrs from start to finish.
