Dubs' Blender Progress

Polybooks

This is my primative modeling challenge in the Fundamentals of 3D Mesh Modeling series! I do not own a telescope so I just winged it. :)

Oh nice idea, your results look great. I've always wanted a telescope, maybe one day.

This is my sci-fi crate. I didn't execute one of the earliest inset scale operations smoothly but I did some clean-up to keep it in tact.

I concur, turned out good. It's a little zoomed out though, it can be a little closer.

Looking good. I'm going to say those are apple juice bottles, he drinks one while shredding to Led Zeppelin.

The result is great man. From in simple telescope to a cool mid complex bike in a short while. That is great progress. If we put it in RPG terms, you just defeated a boss and gained new weapons, abilities and lots of experience points to level up.

Here is my kitchen from the article, "Top 3 Things Every Beginner Blender Artist Should Model". I'm looking most forward to the last of the 3 items which is a character!

Great kitchen exercise. The character is a fun challenge for sure. Post it as soon as you're finished.

Ok it's taken me quite a while but I'm nearly done with the Introduction to Character Modeling course. I still need to go through the posing piece. The physics portion for the scarf was a bit too outdated for me to be able to complete that element, but I added some textures/colors and I'm really happy with this. I am going to take a crack at Rigify next and see how it goes.

That's looking great already, even when not yet posed, Brian Dubs 👍🏻
