Second time trying to post this so apologies if this ends up double posting.
As others have done I'm going to use this a repository for my progress while going through all of the great turorials and learning flows on the site.
To start I've got a little shot of my first attempt at the shark sculpting exercise by Kent Trammell.
I'm really happy with the start seeing as I've never sculpted digitally or otherwise in my life, plus I feel the more I sculpt the more I get a FEEL for each tool and become better at it.
Feedback if you have any is much appreciated.
I made a detour to complete @theluthier 's Modeling, Texturing and Shading a Treasure Chest just because I wanted to. Haha.
Some slight differences just for the hell of it. It's also worth noting that I did this on a Microsoft Surface 3 (not even a surface pro!) as I was visiting family for the holidays. Stuggled in parts but got there in the end.
So. I have begun my journey though @theluthier HUMAN course.
I noticed a few posts of other peoples progress using a method of refining each stage. Taking multiple passes each time BUT...
I really don't know if I have the willpower to go on if I don't keep moving forward. So that being said I've decided not to dwell to long on each stage amd just accept that my first attempt will be far from perfect.
That being said I am not to ashamed of my results so far. The two images below are my bust after the plane stages and then after the refinement of the mouth and nose.
Next is the eyes.
I'd also just like to say how great this course is. I'm sure I've mentioned it before with all of the courses I've taken so far but I feel it bears repeating. You guys produce really thorough and well produced lessons.
ponchismaaan You're off to a great start with your bust!

I think is very wise. In fact I think it's wise for any advanced tutorial; maybe even intermediate level. Applying a complex workflow twice will make a huge difference for skills to stick and last. I look forward to seeing your progress!
Cheers for the encouraging feedback too. Means a lot 🙏
