Just something I put together while messing around with an eevee toon shader and trying to learn how to use the compositor.
I combined the airplane I modeled from an older hard surface course by Jonathan Williamson, and then composited my render of Eevee clouds (from the course by Kent Trammell) as a background image.
Not sure how well this works together...
As the toon shader is dependent upon the light source, (and harsh light, it seems) it was difficult to match the sky color to the shader. It also didn't seem to pick up any rim lighting on the plane. Really difficult to bring out any proper highlights with typical lighting methods.
Sort of interesting result though, I guess.
Awesome take on the shader and compositing! The color arrangement is is very complimentary. I'd consider warming up the metallic areas just a bit. Maybe even the canopy a little.
Great work!
I really like the toon shader on this.
I'd probably go with fluffier, cartoony cotton ball clouds for this particular shader/plane. These clouds would be perfect for a "normal" shader and this plane.
