Playing with emissive material and experimenting with lights with camera motion.
-A little disappointed I could not make the lights reflect over all the glass shards. Was my spotlight too strong?

I like the experimenting. Add a Blender progress thread in the forum, that would be the best place to get feedback on these types of experiments. You have got a few sparkles from the spot light, you only see sparkles from the light that bounces off the shards directly at the camera. The cubes are using an emission shader, yo can't bump up the strength on there or you lose the color. Try without the spot light and see if you get the sparkles you are after, you may need to move the cubes closer.
