I haven`t posted for a long time and it`s because I decided to do more hard surface project this year as I was always scared of subd modelling and didn't have any. So I got the best tools: Boxcutter, HOPS, Heavypoly config, and Eevee 2.8 and a couple of months later, I can show you something finally.
This is my first concept, based on the 1920s Gp cars and it was so much fun to do what I want to do with the mesh and don't need to follow other people's concept.
I could finish the modelling part in 5 days and a few days with shading and set up Eevee.
The render was quite fast, 20sec/frame.
Used premier pro first time for the transaction between the shots, but I'm not sure it's good enough. I will need to learn how to use that software.
I would like to know what do you guys think about it. And any advice would be appreciated.
Stay tuned...more hard surface stuffs coming!
rrhyme87 much better! :D
It looks great, cool design.
spikeyxxx, ssmurfmier1985, mmalhomsi, I`ve just updated the video. Hope it is better now.
spikeyxxx ssmurfmier1985 Thank you everyone for your advice. I will try to fix it today and upload the new version. :)
Beautiful work!! The bump on the wheels is a bit strong, I think reducing that will improve their look. The body looks great! And I love the shading. I agree with Malhomsi about the speed, every shot need to be at least twice as long. I do like all the angles you choose. Maybe a soundtrack would add a nice touch ;) Awesome job!! Keep up the good work :-D
Wow, looks great!
Great!
And the best way to slow down or speed up an animation is to use Time Remapping. You can find this in 2.80 under Output-Dimension-Time Remapping. I have never used it myself, but you can try it out and see if you can use it without re-rendering.
mmalhomsi Thank you! Yes, I`m afraid I need to rerender to slow it down... Or is there any other trick to do it? only 25frame/sec so maybe not...
very good work ! ur animation is too fast ! i put the speed at 0.5 so i can admire this car !
