This was one of my first projects back after a long break from the artistic side of Blender. It started as one of the chasms in the Shattered Plains from The Stormlight Archive, but turned into this after I realized I shaped the canyon wrong.
All of the textures are procedural, and the waves in the walls were achieved via microdisplacement. That's why the wireframe is so dirty -- the actual topology is pretty smooth and simple.
