Render Layers note, all progressive sampling
Rgb Snowman 4000 samples, 12:04:38.29 CPU.
Rgba Shadow Layer, shadow pass, image sequence Internal Renderer Used for that. 2.3 minutes or so a frame.
Rgba carrot, walnuts, rocks, 8,000 for 23:21.42 GPU.
Rgba Smoke Layer, vector pass image sequence, 61 samples, round 12 hours, duck and snow layers activated. CPU rendering only.
Rgba Heli Layer, vectors pass sequence, GPU from 30:00.00seconds. All the way up to 1:17.26 for 900 samples. Masking to the snow layer for 20 some frames 400 samples, 04:30.0 round.
No post processes, just render layer compilation in the compositor.
VSE for image sequence, soundtrack, finished file.

It would look better if the snowman's eyes didn't look like they were simply overlapped with the snowman.
