I wanted to attempt one more character bust before I make a stab at the Human course. Originally modeled after the Chinese Actress Zhao Tao, I decided to forego the likeness because I don't think my skills are quite there yet to actually replicate a real person. But I feel this is a worthy attempt and I'm going to keep working at it!
Created in Blender 3.4 but finalized touch-ups were made in Photoshop as well
I goggled the actress, I can for sure see a resemblance. I heard someone say a trick once, if you want to make it appear more realistic, get rid of all the colors and make the render black and white. Moreover, fix the lighting a bit, since right now is too strong pointed at her forehead and face. Do some three point lighting setup perhaps.
Thank you so much for your feedback! Lighting is an area I tend to overthink so that's def a good suggestion.
