Here's my submission for Hallowe'en Game-Ready Asset Challenge 2025!
Creating this high resolution, game ready Witch without a graphics card was definitely a challenge, but as certified stubborn artist, I did it! Used 4k texture maps.
For me, it’s always the small deets that bring a character to life, like: the tiny spider family living in her eye and in the scar on her cheek, the rose, spider webs, skull and pumpkins in her heels and the candy-offering spider (she has a good heart). All in all this project was really fun to create!
Rendered inside Unity (first time using cinematics) which was surprisingly way better than my Blender render (which btw is still rendering).
The second hardest part was that the final renders were way too heavy and I needed those texture details specifically and had to adjust them in low resolution without loosing quality (pretty tricky stuff).
Modeling, Sculpting, Retopology, Unwraping and Rigging inside Blender. Texturing inside Substance 3D Painter. Rendering inside Unity. I've also attached bunch of renders from Unity (for no reason, they just look pretty).

I Updated the video as the previous slow, no music version seemed pretty boring and lifeless.
Love how glowy she is. It's like that's how she gets people to approach her and then bam! you're now her food or her pet.
