This is from the Blender Cloud "Stylized Character Workflow" tutorial.
It's a basic male head, before diving into the actual character to be worked on.
This is a WIP. The eyes, and ears, in particular, are still in a very basic form, but I'm happy with the result so far.
The last three are a little fun with characterization.
Getting there.
The last one is after turning relative detail on with dynamic topology. Easier to give detail where needed.
Made the face less skeletal.
In retrospect I'm not sure if I'd bother sculpting the eyelids and eyes. The eyelids, in particular, are easier to manipulate as a model.
I might sharpen the cheek again, and the dimple, but overall I'm pretty happy with the last image.
A little more progress. May have increased the resolution too much.
It's difficult to adjust stuff now without getting "wrinklies".
Around the mouth for instance.
