Here's a shark that I've been working on recently, based on the wonderful artwork from Sam Nielson. *No baby seals or fish were harmed during the creation process! 😅
beefkeef This is looking fantastic 😀👍! Beside the characters, I especially like the water splashes that are adding much to the dynamic of the scene 👍! How did you create them?
Thanks for that duerer I'm glad you like it! For the splashes I used the fluid simulation : I dropped a few different shaped objects into a pool until it made a 'nice' splash that I liked. Converted that into a mesh and then used the lattice modifier to shape it how I wanted it. Hope that helps and makes sense! 👍
That is cool.
Hey, glad you like it!!
still awesome, still love it :D
Amazing job, Keith
Thanks @fide That's kind of you to say !
Super expressive and captures the spirit of the two-dimensional work. The sculpting feels free and loose, unencumbered but also with the physicality of great stop-motion pieces. This is very inspirational as a reference for the skill level I would like to work up to. Awesome job :]
Thanks ppbenson I really appreciate that comment! Judging by your previous shark sculpt you will be creating things better than this in no time at all!!!
I love the lighting and the bokeh effect. The texture is top notch as well. Looks so dang good Keith. 👍
Glad you like the bokeh! Thanks man!
