She's been singing me to sleep lately... jk. This is my first real attempt at a full game ready character. I didn't get there. The textures are not all baked and the weight painting needs a lot of love, plus the facial expression could use some work. Also I think it's a bit too much in the uncanny valley for my taste. I was going for a stylized look (elongated limbs, etc...) but the face sort of looks like a failed attempt at realism. Also some of the textures need a lot of love.
I learned a lot though and I think the sculpt is pretty good overall. I will eventually return to this one an make it better when I learn more. My goal is to make a band for her to play this club I made for the hard surface modelling course. Maybe make a real short animation to use in short clips for a music video.
I have to agree, your singer has a lot of character.
Less than her face, I think the really hard lines between the stomach and hips could use a little work. It's particularly evident in the club scene.
Otherwise I really like the lighting of the club scene. The overall mood and composition work really well.
I remember her. It's still a great result for being a beginner. I can't model character not even to save my life. As you evolve as you keep practicing and learning, you'll be back to this character and make a remake of her and it'll be a great before and after presentation to showcase how far you've come.
