I've been working on the PotHead course and about 1/3 way of modeling I got down a rabbit hole and ended up creating a couple of characters; Small Fry and Vic Vac. Lots of experimenting, getting into areas I haven't dealt with before and developing a character involves a lot of things. Lots of changes in design and backstories but fun. I'm about 90% done with these 2 models and going back to finish the main guy. Quite a lot to do in making a simple scene. I haven't ever rigged anything yet so getting into animation will be interesting and may come back to this with animating the characters plus there were a couple of additional characters I had in mindrelated to the PotHead style. It's fun and I know I have a long journey in learning to make something decent.
It's a machine with enormous potential, because it's used for everything, for everything. I think it's a great idea, and it's very well done.
I'll buy the patent, Elon Musk: BEWARE, I'll bite! ;)
Dude Brad, you hit the ball out of the park. That is a great initiative and they are turning out awesome. I can only imagine when they are textured and lit. The characters look and feel very home grown, like kit bashed together making me think of that old movie where there was a toaster, a radio, a blanket, a vacuum and they wanted to get back to their owner. Super awesome job man, keep on going.
