It's supposed to be bare metal (after weathering) which does have that grained/stretched effect. Maybe I went a little OTT though, and you are right it won't be seen.
Very cool! A bit of stretching in some texture areas but since you say it's to be used ins a bigger project I guess it won't be seen. Good job!
