Post-Apocalyptic Character - Ridgeway Final

This is Ridgeway. Ridge for short. He grew up in the post-apocalyptic world, a child of a family of eagle hunters. After the magnetic fields flipped, Earth was left exposed to numerous harmful rays. These rays created mass destruction, causing countless mutations, cancers and diseases in people and killing off many species of animals and plants (leaving a lot of the earth in an arid climate / environment). The magnetic flip also irreversibly damaged a large majority of electronic devices. Some select pieces still work, but since the situation has been so dire, there hasn't been much of a push to restore society to its former glory - people are more concerned with finding a reliable food source at this point. After a brutal bandit attack that occurred when he was a teen, Ridge was left as the only surviving member of the eagle hunters. He now wears the feathers of the birds that once lived happily with his family, as a signal of respect for his lineage and the lives that were lost. Later on, while scrambling to make it on his own, Ridge came upon a wounded raven. While nursing the raven back to health he was able to apply the techniques his family had taught him to train the bird to hunt and signal for danger. The two became inseparable. Ridge and his raven now roam the arid post-apocalyptic world with one goal - survival.
