Thought I'd practice doing some portrait lighting with Sintel based off of things from the CORE Lighting course. Most of what I saw in that one (at least for portraits).
These pics themselves can serve — well, not as a training course but as a vivid illustration of the power of lighting: how it can change, for want of a better term, the whole genre of the picture. I can see here action/adventure, mystery/suspense, drama/romance — maybe even a bit of erotica.😉 Or comedy — with elements of all of the above. But there you go: the power of lighting.👍🔦
A classic one. They are all great, I guess the first one is overblown in the highlights. My guess is you were using the standard color management look? Since the other ones hardly get blown out areas.
