I modeled two different twigs to use with The Grove 3D tree growing software. I also created a Ponderosa Pine preset. The trunk texture is a mix of two different bark textures with a musgrave texture as the mix factor. The branches also use two different textures mixed with a musgrave texture. I did that to reduce the issue of repeating patterns. I also mixed a knot layer to the displacement and diffuse. The ground is simple. Please, let me know your thoughts or recommendations.

Hi Stefan! This is a cropped lower section of the full image. When I saved it down to the file size maximum for this site, the image became more blurry, I agree. Also, I could've rendered more passes, but this was meant to be a relatively quick test of the preset. The full image can be seen here: https://cdna.artstation.com/p/assets/images/images/004/808/618/large/carl-roe-ponderosapinerendercomp3c.jpg?1486427855
Thank you very much for your comment and critique! I already see other areas of the preset that needs adjusting also.
The conifer needles are looking a little blury, but this is criticism at a high niveau.
I like the composition and the textures, you non-reapting-trick works for me :)
Thank you!
