Looks like maybe the angle (relative to the direction of light) is casting less and, as a result, bleeding out some of the detail! That's my guess! Definitely a solid observation! I've had similar issues with hard surface models, where angles effected the detail (or lack, thereof) or could be a simple oversight! I've had that happen as well! Still! Totally a straight badass concept!!
Very cool, Roman. What is the purpose of the ship--looks like it's some sort of workhorse for like mining. Also why is the part with the skull not as heavily textured as the rest of the metal on the ship--it look relatively untouched by comparison. I love this--cat
