This scene marks the end of the first term as a student of 3D modeling at CG Spectrum! It was really fun creating each and every object that is in this scene, and then seeing it all come together like this during these two final weeks.
Kudos to my mentor Anna Beganskaya for being very supportive and always having answers to all of my questions, and for chit-chatting about 3D modeling in general!
Looking forward to the next term as we'll be diving into character and environment modeling!
That ended up looking very awesome. I think I see the rocket he has on his back crashed on the planet. So that means the penguin crashed landed there. But maybe that's what his work is all about, he does have with him his yellow toolbox after all.
Yeah I’m thinking that this is a zoom in on that planet, with him either ready to search for a way of repairing the rocket, or he is simply up to mischief on the planet and this is just how he rolls! XD
Gonna work on making an actual background for the scene, just need to make the horizon look good and convincing!
