My pile of rocks in Unity. I used the Normal Map and Retopo geometry provided in the course files. I painted the color map a bit differently. Went for a more cartoony look closer to the concept art.
It was a good flow! Would like to see more of those. Perhaps with character rigging? Also, the flow had some gaps. In cases like this where there are multiple objects, it would be nice to see speed-videos for the other objects so you can follow the entire process and don't have to rely on course files.
Another thing that bugged me was that the rocks here didn't really seem to have a specific purpose a hypothetical game. So for example, I thought this was too much detail for a generic background prop. It would be nice to work on something more functional in the future so there is more context.
