Moon Orc and the Emerald Forest Elves Final

5 loves

After a few computer crashes and minor migraines, me having a word with my computer to pull himself together or he'll end up in the recycling home I managed to upgrade The Moon Orc project.

On Kent's recommendations, I Increased the vellus hair, decreased its' diameter, mushed up his nose gave it a second scar, and gave Sander(the name given to him by Omar Domenech, good one) leather armor.

Sander is off to meet the Elves of the Emerald Forest for a possible peace treaty, very daring!

I really appreciate all your comments and love for my work. I'm so chuffed that my work was Staff picked.

Truth be told I'm a bit of a hermit. Sort of 21st-century Gollum. But much appreciate CGCOOKIE, Blender, and the community,

Cheers for now.

  • These few little changes improved a lot what already was a great work.
    Congratulations.

In 3D graphics, one enters a twilight zone of never-ending learning.
      Cheers for the comment

Well will you take a look at that, Sander dressed up formally for the meeting with the Elves. In orc etiquette that's like wearing a tuxedo. It's an awesome result. In the last three renders the lighting and the camera angle makes the model look so good, as if he's ready and determined to make the best out of that meeting. My only small critique would be that there is no breakup in the texture with the lighting on the clothes. It is very smooth with a bit of displacement. But I know that at that point you're just tired of all the work and want it to be over with. That's why my favorite render is the one before the last, the dramatic green lighting looks great and masquerades the clothes softness. Awesome work man, we are all proud of Sander.

The name Sander is on you and is a good one.
Moon Orc clan and Sander are pioneers.
My clothes-making, textures, and armor, amongst other things. need practice.
I appreciate the critiques, small and large, they help me grow.
      Cheers.
