Lightsaber Final

My very first finished render as a novice in digital art. Tried to apply all the knowledge I gathered on CGCookie and other youtube tutorials. The blade is made of a quite strong purple emit shader and the effect was entirely made up in the compositor. The metal textures (raw and the kind of brass) are not based on image textures but rather procedurals with a bunch of texture paints for the grunge and grime effects. The light setup is a basic 3 points lighting of emit planes with a slightly yellowish fill light and slightly blueish fill + rim light. C&C much appreciated :)
