Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 2018 Final

Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 2018, Modelled in Blender, Shading and Texturing in Blender, Rendered with EEVEE. Tips and tricks picked up from @theluthier 's livestream Vehicle Shading & Lighting with EEVEE and the EEVEE Essentials blog post by metinseven . For the interior clocks and buttons, I searched the internet for some useable images but couldn't find any suitable, so I created images in Blender by modelling the shapes I needed, starting with a flat plane or circle, extruding and scaling and then rendering with a transparent background with the camera and light directly above. These only took a minute or two to model and render.

You're a MACHINE! Really nice vehicle work, as is usual. Love the Eevee lighting + shading tooπŸ‘

One note I'd make - a common one with vehicle renders - is that the tires don't appear to have any weight applied from the vehicle body. When they're left as a perfect circle there's an odd weightless appearance.

Using a lattice modifier you can subtly flatten the bottom side to compensate for weight. Compare to reference online by overlaying a perfect circle in Photoshop / Gimp / Krita and you'll see what I mean.

Still it's a minor note that hardly detracts from the overall quality

  • @adrian2301 Definitively worth being a "Staff Pick"πŸ‘!

  • @adrian2301 That is a work of art my friend. I really like the level of detail that went into everything. If I could nominate this for a staff pick I would lol.
