Finished building my medieval castle. I built a quick beach like setting for it. I used my water shader that I made from Kent's "Shader Forge" course for the surrounding ocean (if you haven't done that course you need to).

@bruffin776: Thanks. Maybe take a hi res screenshot of your node setup
pointoflife14 You're welcome David! And thank you, I really appreciate it! It was actually pretty simple, I just took a splattered texture from Textures.com, masked it on top of the snow in the material editor, and used both the min and max check boxed on the texture coordinate node. That's the jist, let me know if you need more clarification.
@bruffin776 Thanks Brandon! I've also really been loving your art as well! Your texturing is superb! Would love to know how you did the blood-spattered snow , the one with the old worn picture locket.
That castle is so good! Awesome work dude!
Excellent modeling and texturing.
n3b Thanks Goose (I'[m thinking Top Gun now...LOL!) Started with a simple generic reference then just improv-ed as I went with a hodgepodge of ideas from looking at hundreds of castles.
This is looking good so far! I really like the towers beside the gate. The parapets atop them look good. I also really like the corbels above the gate! Are you working of a specific reference or are you making design decisions as you go? Nonetheless this has inspired me to construct a castle of my own!
oolee Thanks Jesse! It was indeed, but a lot of fun.
Nice man. Looks like a lot of work went into it! Best of luck on your future endeavours.
