This was my entry for the current Weekly CG Challenge. The tunnel was done with layering a bunch of procedural textures together and Cycles true displacement, which I learned from the shader forge vids, thanks Kent! The floor as well, just not as crazy. The character was an asset I had from Daz3d. The background is a deep space x-ray scan I got from the Nasa website, and thought it looked awesome! The artist study stream on Beeple inspired me a little on this one! I have a couple more ideas, so keep an eye out! Thanks for lookin :)
elfideo thanks for the critique! I'll keep that in mind for my next project!
Very nice work my criticism is that the eyes are in conflict when you first open the image, they are both drawn to the girl on the background but then you have a noise foreground, remember that we are pattern recognition creatures if you put such a strong texture on the foreground the eyes are going to be in conflict.
