Human Part 1 Work In Progress

3 loves
My progress so far in Human. Finished the first section, sculpting a generic male head. I plan to swap in some different facial features next and customise it a bit.

Listen to what Claire has to say, take her advises, her Mr. Bien is very bien.

What do you want me to say to that compliment? Many thanks.
But for his work and the eyelids are a very tricky part, I know I've screwed up X times. But when it comes to sculpting, there's room for improvement in rectifying them, they're too open.
After all, I'm not a professional and he'll do what he wants...

  • It's very, very well done, you just have to be careful with the eyelids (I've been there) otherwise it's excellent work.

Thanks! I saw the two portraits you did in the gallery, they looked pretty great. I'll take another look at the eyes, thanks for the critique.

  • 👍This is by far the hardest part of it, as far as I’m concerned: as always, my respect to all who have mastered sculpting, which I personally find both tedious and unforgiving, the second worst feature of Blender, after its texture painting (yes, I know: it’s free open source, beggars can’t be choosers, and I should stop complaining and just pay for ZBrush 😉).

Thanks! I've only ever used Blender for sculpting, so I have no real point of reference. After learning the brushes and sculpt settings, I find it pretty enjoyable. Would be cool to try out z brush one day though...
