A fanart of the bestest henchman from the Venture Bros series.
Sculpted, modeled, shaded, and lit in Blender. Retopo with CgCookie's Retopoflow. YanSculpts has a great skin shader tutorial that served as the base for the shader I ended up creating, so thanks to him. Textures were largely done in blender's texture paint toolset, which was new for me, but photoshop had play a supporting role there. Rigged with BlenRig 5, which is a disaster in terms of documentation, but I'm starting to figure it out haha. Rendered in the increasingly impressive engine Cycles, which gets better every day.
