For the Epic Pumpkin Challenge I made this obese Pumpkin enjoying some Halloween candy. I have a tendency to think 'this project is done' at 2 AM and then continue working on it the whole next day.
Thank you, daphne2, it just needs some tweaking in order to get rid of the noise without adding too bright lights that would ruin the atmosphere. But I'm happy that I could set up the particle systems needed for instancing the pumpkins as well as the inner lights.
Thank you Ingmar, that's exactly the vibe I was going for! I like your idea of a (were)wolf pumpkin as well, imagine a whole field of them howling and biting!
@jlampel Thanks Jonathan! First time doing animation for me. I also wanted to do a 3D print as candy jar for at work with the Ultimakers there but then we (The Netherlands) went in semi lockdown again this week π£ No sharing candy π£
@theluthier Thank you! In hindsight I could have improved the textures of the stems to make them come to life more. And maybe lighting, and details and .. π
metinseven Thank you!
Love this, especially the animation. Pleasantly reminiscent of Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas. Nice use of DOF as well.

thirddimension It's never perfectπ Maybe good, but then I see other people's work and realise there's still so much to learn and improve upon

Edit to my last post: Of course "Halloween" and not "Helloween" π!
