This is just a little practice I did following a tutorial from Andrew Price. I really like how the lighting turned out, it seems I like the lighting more when I make it simpler. For this, I used an HDRI for the fill lighting and one point light as the key light. I guess it is true that sometimes less is more.
Yeah, that a true insight. We tend to overdue it at first with all the lights and trying to have every crevice lit and then you realize it's actually much simpler. It's one of those weird things in life of "when you get out of your own way". I remember doing this Andrew tutorial, good gum drops.
