After following the introduction to character modeling, i've choose to push my new knowledges to an other character.
It's a gobelin inspired by a concept art.
Modeling and sculpting in "high res" then decimate or retopo. After that I've baked normals and AO to generate textures (still have work to do on them) and finally rigging.
All of this allow me to get a better understanding of the workflow, I've still made mistakes (apply subsurf where I shouldn't, using sculpt instead of multires for some mesh ...) but it was really great learning process.
How cool is this guy! 👍
This is pretty great, better than anything I could do. Love the head sculpt especially.
