Yeah, if one wants the paint dinged up, spokes bent, rust, graffiti, or anything like that there's plenty more that could be done.
I didn't do this with nodes, basically just 3 cylinders. The spokes are one cylinder with two arrays applied to them, wrapping them around the center. One cylinder for the can, and I think a circle with a skin modifier for the rim.
I'd love to play with geometry nodes, just haven't got to it yet.
It is a brand new trash can without any rust or dirty on it...... I am suddenly thinking about geometric node approach VS regular modeling approach. Which approach has more advantages when it is used to build a trash can? Thank you!
