Here's the latest project I've been working on - it's based on the Hearthstone murloc character Flurgl - so all credit to the original artist!.
I modelled in Blender and also made use of the vertex paint to add some materials. I also used Photoshop to tweak the colours slightly and add some extra dust.
It was a fun project and I'm pretty happy with the outcome as I have tried to model a Murloc previously but found them to be quite difficult.
I'm really happy to hear any feedback you might have - as I'm sure there are improvements to be made!
Grats on this one, Keith)
I like the depth of field, it adds a lot of realism to it. It's damn near perfect. I would just layer his skin for more color depth.
@wesburke It's always an honur to be Staff Picked here, thanks alot & I'm glad you like it!! 😎
wardred Thanks for the comments and feedback, I'm glad you like it!
I think because I made the throat as a separate object it has that tear - thanks for pointing that out
👍
That's gotta be the most beautiful ugly frog lizard thing I've ever seen.
Nice job!
The only thing that looks off to my eyes is the chin or neck. . . rim on the left side where it intersects with the chest. The red line almost looks like a tear instead of a shadow.
I'm really impressed with your coloring work. That's an area I've just dabbled in and am still pretty weak at.
