One of my day jobs is as a local pub. One of my regular customers has become a good friend as we share similar views and a similar sense of humor. One day he came up to me at the bar and said “how about Flash Maggot’s Funpornium?” I have no idea what he was riffing on when he made it up, but I loved the name – it made me laugh – and I could immediately see the storefront to it. As he make a job I otherwise can’t stand at least endurable I wanted to make it for him as a gift. Over the next few months when I found spare time to work on Blender I built it, and then discovered and taught myself to use Substance Painter and Substance Designer to fill out the texturing needs.
Obviously it’s not perfect, and there is LOT more I would have loved to add, but eventually one has to say ‘I’m going to stop here – this is enough.’
While all of the magazines are (bad) puns or literalist humor, the concept is still a ‘porn’ shop so I have marked it as mature content.
Also, to keep the image down to recommended limits it loses a lot of the detail that is at the heart of this image.

Haha , great work :) , why not post a higher resolution image on the forum : http://community.cgcookie.com/ , the max size limit there is a lot higher, just render it out at 2560x1440 or 1920x1080 or something and save as a jpeg rather than a png and you will get in the detail you need and should still be under the size limit. CGC is currently creating Cg Cookie six , which is going to be a brand new website with much better gallery capabilities including "projects" rather than single images, where you can make a full page for each project you do , including high res images, videos, sketchfab uploads ect, and continue to add to it as your project progresses :)
