Another render of the Fisherman Hat.
I added a Displacement map for extra detail.
Thank you all for the tips on the last upload. :)
Any comments/Critique is welcomed!
This is way better (bump and displacement wise). Well done ! :)
Yet I don't like the intergration with the background :
This time bump/displace is missing on the wood planks, wood reflections are bad too I think and I'm not a big fan of those bright colors. ^^'
As for the hat, I largely prefered the lighting that you had on your previous render. :p
Thanks again! :)
Of course! I modeled it with sculpting. then after all textures and such was done, I simulated the hat to fall on the wooden floors to create an even more realistic look. Good idea with Poliigon! I wish I would have thought abotu that - excitement got the best of me haha
Cool :) , that displacement really helped. May I ask how you modelled it? Im assuming it was either sculpt mode or some clever use of proportional editing.
As to your last post, I will be trying the Poliigon trial asap but I am waiting till I have some of my models ready to texture so I can make good use of the month :)
Haha, thanks man :)
